The church of Christ of Owasso exists as a congregation of the Lord's Church for the purposes of carrying out the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 16:15-16), encouraging and exhorting each other and doing good to all people (Galatians 6:9-10).

Congregational activities are planned and conducted through various ministries in such a way to promote involvement and spiritual growth of all members. The work of the Church is performed by deacons, teachers, evangelists and other members under the oversight of the elders with the express purpose of honoring and glorifying the name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
